Roma Finance managing director Scott Marshall says Tracey Martin joining the company as head of sales is “terrific news for the company”.

The bridging and development lender has recruited Tracey as the company embarks on a new phase of growth.

And Scott believes being able to announce such a high-calibre appointment bodes well for the future of the business.

He predicts increased success for the company, allied to the recruitment of someone who he sees as a key player in the business.

He said: “With our lending increasing significantly now that we are seeing the positive impact from our Fast Track service proposition, our strategic plans are quickly becoming a reality.

“We’ve had several record months and to be able to announce such a high calibre appointment is terrific news for the company. I really am delighted to be able to welcome Tracey to her new role at Roma and I’m ever so confident that she will play a major role in taking Roma to further growth and success.”

Tracey has more than 20 years’ experience in sales leadership, and she brings what is described as a "high level of expertise" to the Roma team.

She is passionate about developing staff – something she did to great effect while managing teams in blue chip companies such as Sky Sports and the RAC.

And she is eager to build a high performing sales team to grow the business and to further develop what Roma says is a “first class service proposition”.

Tracey will also work with existing introducer partners and build new opportunities within the bridging and commercial finance sectors using her vision and expertise to drive results across the business.

In her new role at Roma Finance, Tracey will also be providing strategic leadership support to the current sales team including skill development, training and motivation.

She aims to expand the team by recruiting new field-based BDMs and more office based bridging specialists, as well as growing business lending levels.

And she is keen to get stuck into her new role. She said: “I am very excited to have joined such an innovative and forward-thinking lender. Roma has had tremendous success over the last few years and I aim to build on that and take lending to the next level.

“I’ll also be growing the national sales team to cope with the growing demand for Roma’s market-leading bridging and commercial products.”
